Fresh from Jen Kingwell Designs... Jen finally has her own needles! This has been a 2-year process for Jen, as she wanted to find the very best needle to stitch with. And, we reckon she has done it! These needles have been sampled by many hands, as Jen has travelled over the years with samples and encouraged workshop participants to have a stitch with them (some of you reading this may have even had a try!) These needles are made from the finest quality English steel with a double eye punch. There are two Milliner sizes available - Size 10 and 11. Jen uses the Milliner needle to hand stitch with. She loves the 11 - it is the longest and finest, which helps regulate her stitches. When we asked Jen about the features of her Milliner needle, she mentioned that it's not thick at one end like other needles. This assists with glide, allowing you to get more running stitches on the needle. The size 10 Milliner is still beautiful to stitch with, it is just slightly thicker and has a larger eye which can make it a little easier to thread. There is also a Chenille Size 26 in the range - the perfect hand quilting needle! It's short, fat and takes a thicker thread (I.e. Aurifil 12!)
