Getting your Quilt Back

Instructions on getting your Quilt back

You have three choices for the return of your quilt(s), as follows:

Option 1: Collect at the end of The Festival

Free of Charge

  • Collecting at the end of The Festival is by far the easiest and safest option to take. Why not collect for your friends too!
  • If you choose to collect your quilt on Sunday 4th August, you will be sent a collection slip which you must produce when collecting your work. This collection slip will be sent with your labels in June.
  • We envisage that the first quilts will be available for collection from 5.30pm and we aim to have them all collected by 6.30pm.
  • To speed the process our quilt teams will return the quilt itself unpackaged, and some packaging for you. Should you wish your quilt to be repackaged, this can be done, but priority will be given to those prepared to wrap their own work. (We try our best to return your specific packaging but due to the volume of quilts we can’t guarantee this).

Option 2: Collect West Sussex

All quilts that are posted back or taken to Bill Bowden will be repackaged by our team of Quilt Angels. We will try our best to return your quilt in your specific packaging but due to the volume of quilts we can’t guarantee this).

£6 fee (return of quilt only)

You can collect your quilt from either West Sussex any time between 9.30am and 8.00pm on Tuesday 4th August, and between 8.00am and 8.00pm from Wednesday 5th – Friday 7th August 2020.

See ‘Getting Your Entry to Us’ for address details.

Option 3: Return by Post/Courier

Prices below

With over 800 quilts to return in limited time, we regret that it is totally impractical to weigh and price each piece individually. Furthermore, whilst the entrant can choose any carrier, as organisers we are forced to select one, reputable organisation with a tracking system to entrust with the return of the quilts.
The prices below reflect these limitations and are heavily subsidised (particularly the overseas entries).

We anticipate that quilts to UK addresses will be returned by Friday 7th August 2020.

Festival of Quilts COVID-19 Update

At present we very much hope that Festival of Quilts will go ahead as planned, however we are closely monitoring the situation and continue to follow and adhere to UK Government and Public Health England advice.

Tickets for The Festival of Quilts 2020 (including tickets for workshops and social events) will now be going on sale in April with the usual priority booking for members of the Quilters Guild.

We will ensure to keep you updated on this evolving situation (including the new date tickets will be on sale); please sign up to our newsletter to receive all important notifications on our ticket launch and show programme.

Please be assured that during this period of uncertainty, we will continue to offer full refunds to visitors should the event not go ahead.

Thank you for bearing with us during this incredibly difficult time.
