Vintage Botanical Fabric Journal

By Ami James

This amazing slow stitch project uses up your scraps of fabrics, lace and trimmings. The whole project only costs about £5 to make.  Ami will share how to make a botanical themed book, but of course this type of vintage fabric journal can be created to any theme. Ami has made books for travel, anniversaries, weddings and as memory books.

Ami will share techniques she uses to transfer designs easily, how to add layers and stitch with Kantha stitch – before then constructing the book.

You can watch this video as many times as you like, pause and replay so that you can really get to grips with creating your own slow-stitched vintage fabric journal.
