I am an artist, curious about loss, absence, and identity. I bring my own personal experiences into my work. I am also a teacher, enjoying the sharing and enabling that is the key to the studio experience I offer to adults of all ages, working in any form of textiles.
About This Gallery
A gathering of work which looks at how fragile the memory is when challenged by dementia – not just that of the person suffering from the condition, but also that of family and friends. Using images of my father for some of the pieces, but later works look at ideas of buried layers.
