In this class you will learn and understand the technique and be able to complete the design after class.

      Requirements for one Floral Fascination:

  • Two 9.5 x 105cm (3¾ x 42”) strips in different colours
  • (Black and White used here for left- and right-hand flowers)
  • Six 18cm (7”) squares (Turquoise shown here in left nd right flowers)
  • Thread to match fabrics
  • Sewing Machine + regular foot
  • (Hand sewing is acceptable but less will be accomplished)
  • Marking pen/chalk/erasable pen in contrasting colour to fabrics

    Preparation in advance of the class:
  • Sew both 33⁄4 x 42” strips together to make a 7” wide band. Press seam open and Cut strip into six 18cm (7”) squares.
  • Make 60° triangle and 6” circle card templates. Tip: Cut out roughly from paper, stick paper onto card – cut round outline carefully. (If you have a Sew Easy 60° or EZ 60° acrylic templates, or similar, this can be used as a substitute for the triangle card )
