Children's Workshops

At present we very much hope that Festival of Quilts will go ahead as planned, however we are closely monitoring the situation and continue to follow and adhere to UK Government and Public Health England advice.

Tickets for The Festival of Quilts 2020 (including tickets for workshops and social events) will now be going on sale in April with the usual priority booking for members of the Quilters Guild.

We will ensure to keep you updated on this evolving situation (including the new date tickets will be on sale); please sign up to our newsletter to receive all important notifications on our ticket launch and show programme.

Please be assured that during this period of uncertainty, we will continue to offer full refunds to visitors should the event not go ahead.

Thank you for bearing with us during this incredibly difficult time.

Lewis & Irene, a leading British textile design house will be at the Festival of Quilts again and this year they’ll be hosting the fantastic children’s workshops!
Anyone between the ages of 5 and 18 can join a workshop and they will be able to make their own enormous Cyril the Snail cushion. Come and meet some of the Lewis & Irene team, take away a gorgeous Christmas themed quilt pattern, see our new fabrics or join us in one of our family friendly, informal sessions.
Watch our social media pages for more information. Remember that kids go free at Festival of Quilts, helping to pass on the love for sewing and quilting to future generations.
