Orange Peel Quilts with Invisible Machine Applique Dawn Cameron-Dick

Thursday 28th July 9:00am (1/2 day)

Has the thought of all that curved piecing putting you off making an Orange Peel quilt? Dawn will show you a way to make it is using a technique she developed in 1984…Invisible Machine Applique (IMA)! Use your machine to create a “turned edge” applique, using NO bonding products. you will produce a soft appliqué that is hard to distinguish from hand applique. She will advise you on setting up your machine, creating the stitch, and teach you a clever way to turn under your seam allowances. You will also see how to use IMA to mitre borders, sew bias binding and avoid the need for curved piecing!
