The Creative Textiles Studio (once known as the Virtual Studio) has been running at The Festival of Quilts for over 15 years; a drop in space for visitors to watch a surface design studio in action.
Well-known artists have demonstrated various creative processes in a live studio environment and this year we celebrate the end results of those demonstrations with an exhibition of the work produced.
This Gallery will celebrate pieces that started as plain cloth, on benches and have gone through the entire creative journey from concept to completion.
Located opposite the Studio itself, this exhibition will demonstrate the incredible achievements of the artists involved in the Creative Textiles Studio and inspire you to try out some of the processes demonstrated.
