This unique multi-faith tapestry involved 91 participants working for 270 hours and learning so many different skills under the guidance and expertise of a wonderful teacher, Paula Hope (who now works on Today’s Quilter). It was launched on 9th November 2019 to celebrate 550th birthday of Guru Nanak, the founder of Sikh faith and his universal message of ONENESS.

Guru Nanak ‘s recipe to be a good human has three ingredients:  Meditation, Honesty and Sharing. These three principles are beautifully interpreted into the design of the tapestry.

Participants from the Sikh, Hindu, Christian, Muslim and Jewish faiths were all incredibly committed and the result is a beautiful triptych which will be on display in England for the first time at The Festival of Quilts.
