The Grenfell Memorial Quilt is an inclusive community project set up to provide an outlet for the emotions of those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy and as a tribute to the 72 people who died.

Similar to the memorial walls which expressed the sentiments of the local community with outpourings of love, sorrow and defiance, the GMQ has provided a sense of community and a safe place to express emotions & feelings.

The quilt is made up of sections of 12’ x 12’ panels and will be on display at The Festival of Quilts in 2022. Visitors will also be able to meet the people behind the quilt and find out more about the ongoing campaign to support those affected and prevent a similar tragedy happening again.
