Piecing Patchwork – Girl’s Favourite and Hidden Star 12.5inch Blocks

By Sukhbeer Dryden

This is a technique showing you how to piece together two great patchwork blocks using squares and triangles. Sukhbeer shows you how easy it is to put your pieces together using a quarter inch foot on your sewing machine. She also shows you how to use the Stitch and Flip method to create triangular corners on a square.

These patchwork blocks are structured for those that like symmetry and straight lines, with lots of points and the importance of ironing seams as you go. But do not be put off, you can watch this video as many times as you like until you get the hang of it.
