Tammie Bowser

Before she began making art quilts Tammie worked in the fashion industry as a patternmaker and designer. She takes great pleasure in creating sewing/quilting techniques and processes that are easy and fun. She views herself as a fabric engineer. “Teaching students how to make amazing art is the best part of my job!” she said. Her quilts have been featured on television many times; seen on “Quilting Arts TV” (season 1500 and 1600), and The Best of Sewing With Nancy on PBS/Create TV. She is a Quilt National winner and her quilts are in the private collections of the Shelbourn Museum and International Quilt Museum.
