Join Cindy Cloward, Owner and Creative Director at Riley Blake Designs as she gives insight into the making of the historic prints from the Jane Austen Coverlet quilt. Cindy will take you through the story behind this historical collection release, including where the print names came from. She’ll share details about the incredible Jane Austen Coverlet Quilt and RBD’s recreation of this masterpiece.

You’ll virtually visit the Jane Austen’s House Museum in Chawton, England and see the coverlet quilt on display. In addition to showing the beautiful finished goods and notions inspired by the collection, Cindy will demonstrate how to use the Jane Austen diamond acrylic template to save time and maintain accuracy. This collection has been a passion and a privilege to bring to quilters and Jane Austen fans worldwide.

Cindy is the Owner/Creative Director of Riley Blake Designs. Along with her husband Bret, a talented group of artists and a dedicated staff of employees, she has grown a small family-owned business into one of the leading fabric manufacturers in the quilting and sewing industries. She is passionate about well-designed, high quality fabrics and loves to quilt and sew anytime she has a spare moment. She grew up sewing and has a love for all handmade things. Cindy and Bret’s joy are their four children and beautiful grandchildren. They reside in the beautiful state of Utah.
