About

Explore Jo’s Freehand Foundation Piecing technique in this skills-based workshop. We will be drawing up our own Dandelion Clock freehand on to a foundation fabric before foundation piecing and then tackling wonky improv curves. You will hopefully finish a quarter which can be used as a stand-alone block (measuring 12″) or you can make 3 more at home to create a full circle as shown. This would make a fabulous mini quilt or large pillow or make more blocks for a full-sized quilt. It’s also a great scrappy project.

Available until 31 December 2021.

You will learn:

1) The basics of foundation piecing
2) How to draw up your own foundation template
3) Cutting and piecing Improv curves

Materials can be purchased from suppliers of the Beyond FOQ Shopping Hub, available here: www.thefestivalofquilts.co.uk/beyond-foq-shopping-hub/
