The team is busy working away to get things ready for the launch of Beyond The Festival of Quilts on 30th July.
In the meantime, here is what you can look forward to!
The Festival of Quilts hosts lectures and talks from the world’s leading quilting and textile art experts. To bring you a little taste of what visitor’s experience whilst at the event, we have brought together a selection of online lectures from just some of our most popular contributors. Expect talks from Carolyn Ducey, India Flint, Tammie Bowser and many more.
Choose from 19 diverse projects to make at home, all provided by some of our leading Festival of Quilt tutors. We’ve everything from hand quilting and embroidery to embellish your work or slow stitching with vintage fabrics to machine sewn projects. Choose from making a sleeve for rulers, a snug dog coat for your pooch, a tote bag or basket liner. We have projects with different patchwork techniques such as pinwheel cathedral pin cushion, blocks with a twist and colour rings. All the projects have clear step by step instructions with photo illustrations or diagrams.
