The Quilters’ Guild

The Festival of Quilts has been delivered in partnership The Quilters’ Guild since the event’s launch in 2003.

Created by quilters for quilters, The Quilters’ Guild understand the importance of community; for friendship, to share, teach, inspire, challenge and within this wonderful family of quilters to support and encourage each other.

The Quilters’ Guild is the only UK charity dedicated to the work of ensuring our vibrant quilting future.

The Collection

Quilting is our legacy and from the very beginnings of The Quilters’ Guild, creating a unique collection of British quilts has been part of our mission. Our Accredited collection is full of quilts that tell stories, inspire us and speak of a heritage otherwise untold in history books. We see our craft develop and evolve through the centuries, from the 1700s until present day, making The Quilters’ Guild Museum Collection unparalleled in its uniqueness and importance to our patchwork and quilting heritage.

Visit our Dynamic Galleries featuring The Quilters’ Guild Museum Collection with a special curator guided tour by Heather Audin:  Family Connections and Tiny Treasures.

You can support the incredible work of The Quilters’ Guild by making a donation to help us care for this amazing collection.
